UK IT Industry Awards Entries Close Friday as Rob Rinder Announced as Host

Submissions for the UK IT Industry Awards 2026 close on Friday, June 19 at 11:55pm BST, leaving only a short window for entrants to complete their applications. Organised by Computing in association with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, the awards are returning for their 16th year and will be held this November as a celebration of the people, projects and organisations driving technology across the UK.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 11 at Evolution London in Battersea Park. Described as the largest event in the UK IT industry calendar, the black-tie evening will include a three-course meal, live entertainment, a photo booth, a DJ and dodgems, bringing together leaders and teams from across the sector for a high-profile night of recognition and networking.
This year’s event will be hosted by Rob Rinder MBE. Known as a barrister, broadcaster, Sunday Times number one bestselling author and BAFTA winner, Rinder will bring his trademark wit and energy to the stage as the industry gathers to celebrate another year of achievement and innovation.
The awards have previously recognised a wide range of organisations and institutions, including Lloyds Banking Group, West Midlands Police, Superdrug, Deloitte, IBM, the Crown Prosecution Service, the Bank of England, KPMG and Dunelm. Past winners reflect the breadth of the competition, spanning private sector businesses, public sector bodies and major technology-driven organisations.
With the deadline approaching, organisers are encouraging teams, suppliers, public sector organisations and IT leaders to submit their entries without delay. The awards offer a nationally recognised platform for those delivering transformation, launching innovative products or achieving strong results behind the scenes. For organisations looking to showcase impact and leadership in UK technology, the competition remains one of the most established and respected opportunities in the industry.
The UK IT Industry Awards continue to serve as a benchmark for excellence, highlighting innovation, operational success and the people behind important technology work. As the 2026 edition prepares to close for entries, attention now turns to the shortlist and, later in the year, the ceremony where winners will be announced and celebrated in front of peers from across the sector.
