EET-UG Re-Exam in Rewari on June 21: Strict Rules and Banned Items to Know

Rewari will conduct the NEET and UG examination again on June 21, with stricter security and monitoring measures in place after irregularities reported in the May 3 exam. Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Meena chaired a review meeting with concerned departmental officers on Saturday and directed them to ensure complete preparedness through timely coordination. He said there will be 12 examination centres this time, and security outside the centres will be tightly guarded.
According to the administration, the priority is to maintain confidentiality and fairness throughout the examination process. Officials have been told to keep a close watch on rumours related to the exam and take prompt action if any such issue arises. The DC stressed that no lapse at any level will be tolerated and that surveillance around the centres will be strengthened and made more effective. All departments involved in the arrangements have been asked to complete their responsibilities well in advance.
The restrictions for candidates have also been expanded. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, smartwatches, calculators and pen drives will not be allowed inside the examination centres. In addition, items like geometry boxes, plastic pouches, writing pads, scales and erasers will also be prohibited. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the centres wearing wallets, handbags, belts, caps or any kind of metal jewellery.
The new measures reflect a tighter security environment following the earlier exam held on May 3, when 3,788 candidates appeared across 11 centres in Rewari. During that examination, security staff were not permitted to carry mobile phones inside the centres, so they were given walkie-talkie sets to stay in contact with one another if needed.
The list of centres used on May 3 included Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Rewari; PM Shri Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Circular Road, Rewari; FLTMSBD Government Women’s College, Rewari; PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Naichana; PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rewari; Government Polytechnic, Lisana; Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Gurawra; PM Shri Senior Secondary School, Bithwana; Government Senior Secondary School, Budhpur; Government Senior Secondary School, Saharanwas; and Government Senior Secondary School, Gokalgad. These centres had been selected to accommodate the large number of examinees and ensure orderly conduct of the test.
With the June 21 re-examination approaching, district authorities are focusing on security, coordination and strict compliance with rules to ensure a smooth and fair process for all candidates.
