Fiat Unveils New Toro MHEV in “É de Casa” Campaign and Brasileirão Pre-Game Coverage

The Fiat Toro, launched in 2016 and credited with reshaping Brazil’s pickup segment, has reached a new milestone with the arrival of the 2027 model line: it is now the first mild-hybrid pickup produced in Brazil. Fiat introduced the updated Toro on Saturday, May 30, through appearances on TV Globo’s “É de Casa” and during pre-game coverage of the Brazilian Championship.
In “É de Casa,” the Toro MHEV was featured in a segment about the tradition of decorating streets for major sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup. The studio was transformed into a decorated street setting, serving as the backdrop for the entrance of the blue Jazz-colored Toro Volcano. The presentation emphasized the pickup’s main attributes, its new mild-hybrid technology, and Fiat’s 50th anniversary in Brazil.
Fiat also promoted the Toro during Brazilian Championship broadcasts through merchandising actions in the pre-game shows. In the matches Flamengo vs. Coritiba in Rio de Janeiro and Corinthians vs. Grêmio in São Paulo, narrators and commentators used the pickup as transportation to the stadiums. During the trips, they highlighted the model’s comfort, versatility, and mild-hybrid system.
The Fiat Toro 2027 line is already on sale in Brazil, marking another step in the model’s evolution and reinforcing Fiat’s push toward electrification in the local market.
