Among Us Animated Series Based on Game Releases All Episodes, Trailer Out

Paramount+ has announced the surprise premiere of its new original animated series Among Us, based on the globally popular social deception game. The streamer revealed that all ten episodes are now available exclusively on Paramount+, with stars Yvette Nicole Brown and Liv Hewson making the announcement during Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles on Friday.

Created by Owen Dennis, best known for Infinity Train, the series is produced by CBS Studios and Innersloth. The show follows a group of eccentric, monochromatic Crewmates aboard a ship carrying junk across the galaxy. As they travel through space, the crew must identify an Impostor hidden among them before its dangerous plans succeed. The premise expands the game’s familiar tension of suspicion, deception and teamwork into an animated story.

The voice cast features a wide range of actors, with Brown voicing Orange, Kimiko Glenn as Cyan, Hewson as Black, Ashley Johnson as Purple, Wayne Knight as Lime, Phil LaMarr as Brown, Randall Park as Red, Dan Stevens as Blue, Debra Wilson as Yellow and Computer, Elijah Wood as Green, and Patton Oswalt as White. The ensemble brings together comedy, drama and genre talent for the adaptation.

The original Among Us game became a worldwide phenomenon, especially during the height of its popularity in 2020. At its peak in the fourth quarter of that year, it reached nearly 500 million monthly active users. The game also generated more than 4 billion views on YouTube and over 1.22 billion viewing sessions on Twitch, underscoring its massive presence across gaming and streaming platforms.

In October 2020, the game ranked No. 1 on Google Play in 66 countries and No. 1 on iOS in 55 countries, while also landing in the Top 100 in nearly every market worldwide. Its success turned a simple multiplayer mystery game into a global entertainment brand with strong crossover appeal.

Dennis serves as executive producer on the series along with Forest Willard and Marcus Bromander, while Carl Neisser executive produces for Innersloth. Titmouse is the animation studio behind the project, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina also serving as executive producers.

The new animated adaptation arrives as part of Paramount+’s effort to expand its original content lineup with recognizable gaming and pop culture properties.
