Best Movies and TV Shows Coming to Netflix in June 2026

Netflix’s June lineup includes a mix of new films, series, documentaries and returning favorites, with several titles arriving as streaming highlights for viewers looking for drama, comedy, animation and international stories.
Among the most notable premieres is “Mexico 86,” which begins streaming on June 5. The film is timed to the 2026 FIFA World Cup and looks back at Mexico’s successful 1986 tournament bid, a moment framed by the country’s recovery after a devastating earthquake the year before. Diego Luna stars as Martín de la Torre, a government bureaucrat who drives Mexico’s underdog campaign to win hosting rights against the United States and Canada. Directed and co-written by Gabriel Ripstein with Daniel Krauze, the movie combines historical inspiration with satire about corruption, political ambition and the influence of powerful business figures.
Another major June title is “I Am Frankelda,” arriving June 12. The animated fantasy serves as a prequel to “Frankelda’s Book of Spooks,” the Mexican stop-motion series known for its imaginative and eerie style. The film follows Francisca Imelda, a young writer who discovers that one of the fantasy worlds she created is real. She is drawn into a conflict involving Prince Herneval and the demon Procustes, with the story built around themes of fear, creativity and courage. Written and directed by Arturo and Roy Ambriz, the film leans into colorful visuals and dark fairytale imagery.
On June 18, Netflix will release “I Will Find You,” a mini-series adapted from a Harlan Coben novel. Sam Worthington plays David Burroughs, a man wrongly convicted of killing his toddler son. After years in prison, he is shown evidence suggesting his son may still be alive, prompting a desperate search for the truth and a prison break. The series features Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Madeleine Stowe and Chi McBride, and follows the familiar Coben formula of hidden secrets, layered mysteries and cliffhanger-driven episodes.
“Voicemails for Isabelle,” streaming June 19, is a romantic comedy written and directed by Leah McKendrick. Zoey Deutch stars as Jill, an aspiring pastry chef navigating San Francisco dating while speaking to the voicemail of her late sister, Isabelle. Unknown to her, Isabelle’s old phone number has been reassigned to Wes, played by Nick Robinson. Wes becomes intrigued by Jill through her messages, creating a modern romance built on mistaken identity, emotional honesty and the consequences of deception.
Arriving June 24 is “In the Hand of Dante,” Julian Schnabel’s adaptation of Nick Tosches’ novel. Oscar Isaac plays both Dante Alighieri and the modern writer Tosches in a film that blends literary history with crime and metafiction. The project also features Al Pacino, John Malkovich, Martin Scorsese and Jason Momoa, and uses contrasting visual styles to separate the two timelines.
Netflix’s June schedule also includes a long list of catalog additions, such as “The Big Lebowski,” “Creed,” “Inside Man,” “Rocky,” “Rudy,” “Poor Things,” “Sweet Magnolias” Season 5, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” Season 2, and many more titles across the month.
