Taylor Swift to Attend Game 4 of Knicks vs. Spurs NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden Wedding Venue

Taylor Swift is expected to attend Wednesday’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden, where the New York Knicks will face the San Antonio Spurs, according to a Page Six exclusive. A source said Swift is a big Knicks fan and plans to attend with friends. Her appearance comes shortly after she drew attention for attending a Cleveland Cavaliers game against the Knicks with fiancé Travis Kelce, who was wearing Cleveland gear. Kelce later said the outing was meant to be a fun date night and that he was not trying to turn Swift into a Cleveland sports fan.

Swift has long shown support for the Knicks and has lived in New York since 2014. She previously attended a Knicks game in 2014 with Karlie Kloss, who is also expected to attend Swift’s upcoming wedding. The singer and Kelce, both 36, got engaged in August 2025 and are reportedly planning to marry next month in New York City, with Madison Square Garden said to be the chosen venue. Sources told Page Six that the wedding is expected to take place over the July 3 weekend, and one insider joked that “if you have billions, you can transform the space.”

The reported venue choice has sparked speculation about the scale and cost of the event. Wedding planner Sonal Shah told The Post that a wedding at the arena could cost as much as $20 million, factoring in catering, entertainment, décor, staffing, security, and the exclusivity required to close down such a major venue. She noted that booking one of the world’s most famous arenas for a private celebration involves more than just renting the space, because it also means paying for operations and lost revenue from any concert or sporting event that might otherwise be scheduled there.

Swift’s confirmed Knicks appearance also comes just one day after she walked the red carpet at the “Toy Story 5” premiere. The pop star, who was named a billionaire by Forbes in 2024, continues to balance major public appearances with her relationship and her well-known interest in New York sports. Kelce, meanwhile, has said that while he enjoyed taking Swift to a Cavaliers game and sharing his Cleveland roots, he has since decided to support the Knicks going forward after watching them beat his hometown team.
