Savannah Chrisley Praises Her Much Older Boyfriend Amid Age Gap Backlash

Savannah Chrisley has revealed that she is in a new relationship, describing her boyfriend as older than she is but still younger than her father, Todd Chrisley. She discussed the relationship on the June 15 episode of the Whine Down podcast with Jana Kramer, where she shared limited details about the mystery man. According to Savannah, he is a Washington insider and someone her father “loves,” even though Todd is reportedly not enthusiastic about the couple’s age difference.

Chrisley, who is 28, said that age-gap relationships are becoming more common and argued that they can work well. She suggested that one advantage is avoiding insecurity and competition that can come with dating younger men. In her view, the relationship feels healthy and stable, and she described it as the healthiest relationship she has ever been in.

She also praised her boyfriend’s personality, calling him calm, kind, and supportive. Savannah said he is her biggest cheerleader and that he is not intimidated by her success. She added that she appreciates being with someone who encourages her instead of making her feel as if she has to downplay her accomplishments.

Savannah framed her comments around the idea that many women today are the main earners in their relationships and should not feel pressured to dim their own light to make a partner comfortable. She said her boyfriend respects her work and does not try to stifle her ambitions. She also noted that he does better financially than she does, which she views positively because it shows he is not threatened by her career.

Although she did not identify him by name or reveal his age, Savannah made clear that she is serious about the relationship and feels he could be “the one.” Her comments suggest she is embracing a new chapter in her love life while valuing maturity, support, and confidence in a partner.
