UP BEd JEE 2026 Result Live: Scorecard, Answer Key Released at bujhansi.ac.in

The Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education (UP BEd) entrance process for the 2026 academic cycle drew a large response, with roughly 90% of registered candidates appearing for the exam across 1,011 centres in 72 districts. The admission cycle recorded 4,70,000 total registrations, while 4,44,958 candidates were officially registered to take part in the examination. Of these, 4,41,030 final forms were submitted, indicating that most applicants completed the required application process before the test.
The turnout reflects strong participation in one of the state’s key teacher-training entrance examinations. With exams conducted at more than one thousand centres, the process covered a wide geographic area across Uttar Pradesh, making access possible for candidates from a broad set of districts. The exam’s distribution across 72 districts also highlights the scale of the recruitment and admission exercise for the 2026 academic session.
The gender-wise registration data shows that women formed the largest share of applicants. A total of 2,72,659 female candidates registered for UP BEd 2026, compared with 1,72,297 male candidates. Only 2 transgender candidates were recorded in the registration data. This indicates a clear female majority among aspirants for the BEd entrance exam, reflecting the strong interest of women in entering the teaching profession through the professional education pathway.
District-wise figures also reveal concentrated participation in certain parts of the state. Banaras recorded the highest number of registrations at 65,000, making it the leading district in the 2026 cycle. Gorakhpur followed with 30,000 registrations, while Balia and Prayagraj each recorded 26,000 applicants. These numbers suggest that major urban and educational centres continued to attract the strongest candidate interest.
The overall registration and attendance figures point to a highly active examination cycle, with nearly all major application stages seeing significant participation. The 90% turnout among registered candidates is especially notable, as it suggests that most applicants who completed registration also showed up for the exam. This level of attendance is typically seen as a sign of strong candidate commitment and interest in the programme.
UP BEd remains an important gateway for students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Education course in Uttar Pradesh, which serves as a key qualification for those planning to enter the teaching profession. The latest figures from the 2026 cycle show both the scale of demand and the wide reach of the entrance examination across the state. With more than four lakh final submissions and broad district coverage, the data reflects the continuing significance of BEd admissions in Uttar Pradesh’s higher education landscape.
