You’re Killing Me Season 1 Episode Guide: Everything to Know So Far

Brooke Shields and Amalia Williamson are leading Acorn TV’s new mystery-drama You’re Killing Me, a series built around an unlikely partnership between two very different women investigating strange events and murders in a small New England town. Shields plays Allie, an experienced novelist whose movie deal falls apart at the start of the season, while Williamson portrays Andi, a young podcaster and aspiring writer whose public profile brings her attention but also unwanted baggage.
The series centers on the tension between the two characters, who clash often but gradually learn to work together. Shields described their relationship as one shaped by generational differences, noting that their teasing and disagreements help drive the dialogue and give the story its humor. She said the contrast between them makes the partnership more interesting because both characters can learn from each other instead of simply competing. Williamson echoed that idea, saying Andi and Allie need one another to succeed in different parts of life.
According to Williamson, Andi initially struggles with Allie’s presence because of their age gap and because Andi has unresolved feelings connected to her mother, who left when she was young. At first, she finds Allie irritating, but later realizes that Allie may be exactly what she needs, not only for her career and romantic life, but also as a maternal figure.
Season 1 of You’re Killing Me consists of six episodes. The premiere episode, “The Beginning,” aired on May 18, 2026. The second episode, “The Wedding,” followed on May 25, 2026. The remaining episodes are “The Copycat” on June 1, 2026, “The Front Window” on June 8, 2026, “The Perfect Alibi” on June 15, 2026, and “The Road Trip” on June 22, 2026.
The show is positioning itself as both a mystery and a character-driven drama, with the central appeal coming from the uneasy but evolving bond between Allie and Andi. Their contrasting personalities, different life stages, and shared need for growth give the series its momentum as they navigate suspicious happenings in the town around them.
Acorn TV has already renewed You’re Killing Me for a second season. A release window for season 2 has not yet been announced, as season 1 is still unfolding.
