Pete Davidson Praises Kim Kardashian as ‘Superhuman’

Pete Davidson praised ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s acting talent and work ethic during a recent episode of The Pete Davidson Show, saying he learned from her ability to stay focused despite public attention and to ignore outside opinions. Davidson, who dated Kardashian in 2021 and 2022, called her “superhuman” and said he was impressed by how easily she moved into acting and succeeded at it. He also described her as funny, smart, and fearless about taking on challenges.
The episode featured comedian Nikki Glaser, who appears with Kardashian in the upcoming film Fifth Wheel, directed by Eva Longoria and also starring Fortune Feimster and Brenda Song. Glaser praised Kardashian’s determination, saying she expects people to doubt her but that Kardashian still pushes forward and has exceeded expectations. Davidson agreed, adding that Kardashian’s sense of humor is one of the reasons he remains a fan.
The comments come at a difficult time for Davidson personally. He is currently going through a breakup with model Elsie Hewitt, with whom he welcomed a child five months ago. Hewitt has publicly suggested that Davidson is not helping financially with their newborn daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson. In a May TikTok response to paparazzi photos, Hewitt said she is exhausted, is caring for the baby, and is working to support herself and the child on her own.
Hewitt’s remarks prompted social media discussion about whether Davidson is contributing to child-related expenses. However, a source close to Davidson told USA Today that he is paying for everything connected to Scottie, including health insurance and Hewitt’s rent. Davidson’s team has denied claims that he is failing to provide support.
Despite the personal turmoil surrounding his current split, Davidson’s remarks about Kardashian reflect a more positive chapter from his past relationships. His praise highlighted the respect he still has for her professional growth and public resilience. Kardashian, who became widely known through reality television, has continued expanding her career into fashion, business, and acting, drawing both criticism and support as she takes on new roles.
Glaser’s comments on the show echoed that sentiment, emphasizing that Kardashian knew she would face skepticism but chose to pursue acting anyway. Together, the interview painted Kardashian as someone who has repeatedly proven doubters wrong. For Davidson, the conversation also showed that not all of his past relationships ended badly, and that his admiration for Kardashian has remained strong years after their split.
