Pennsylvania Game Commission Announces 2026-27 Hunting and Trapping License Sale Date

The Pennsylvania Game Commission has announced when hunting and trapping licenses for the 2026-27 seasons will go on sale. Sales begin Monday, June 22 at 8 a.m., and the new license year starts July 1.
The cost for Pennsylvania resident adults is $20.97, while non-resident adult licenses cost $101.97. Licenses can be purchased in person through more than 500 agents across the state or online through the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s HuntFishPA system.
Antlerless deer licenses are also available, priced at $6.97 for Pennsylvania residents and $26.97 for non-residents. These licenses can be bought wherever hunting licenses are sold.
Pennsylvania Game Commission Executive Director Stephen Smith said the agency is looking ahead to what it expects to be a strong season. He noted that the 2026-27 seasons include expanded opportunities, with all hunting seasons open on Sundays except for migratory game birds. Smith thanked hunters, trappers, recreational shooters, and other license buyers for supporting conservation efforts through license purchases.
The announcement gives hunters and trappers time to prepare before the 2026-27 season begins in July.
