M Core Secures Sixth Lease in 12 Months at Swansea Retail Park

M Core has completed its sixth letting in 12 months at M Parc Fforestfach in Swansea after securing Wingers and Nando’s on long-term leases, marking continued momentum at the retail and leisure park. The two food and beverage operators have signed 15-year agreements for nearly 6,000 sq ft combined, with Wingers taking a 2,040 sq ft unit and Nando’s leasing a larger 3,945 sq ft space. Wingers is set to open in June as its first site in Wales, while Nando’s is due to launch in July.

The lettings underscore M Core’s strategy of reshaping the park around national brands with strong recognition and established customer loyalty. The company said the pace of recent occupier activity reflects active asset management aimed at enhancing the scheme’s appeal and broadening its offer for local shoppers and visitors. Adam Martin, director and head of the Bristol office at LCP UK, part of M Core, said the latest deals strengthen the park’s position and add more choice for the local community in Swansea.

Wingers’ entry into Wales marks a significant step for the chain, which said it has invested more than £300,000 in the fit-out and expects to create up to 20 jobs. Anthony Round of Wingers said the location fits the brand’s requirements and that the business is looking forward to opening its doors in Swansea.

The latest signings follow a series of occupier moves at M Parc Fforestfach over the past year. The scheme has recently added Jollyes, Zuno Play, Anytime Fitness, and TanTastic, expanding its tenant mix across pet retail, children’s entertainment, fitness, and dining. With six lettings completed in the past 12 months, the park is broadening its offer and attracting a diverse range of operators.

The continued leasing activity reflects wider demand for well-located retail and leisure space in established suburban destinations that can support brands seeking access to local catchments. For M Core, the additions of Wingers and Nando’s further strengthen the food and beverage element of the park and reinforce its repositioning strategy.
