How to Watch the 52nd American Music Awards Live Online

The 52nd American Music Awards will air live on Monday, May 25, 2026, from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, marking the show’s largest venue to date. Queen Latifah, a Golden Globe, Grammy and Emmy winner and Academy Award nominee, will return as host for the star-studded broadcast, which will be presented live coast to coast at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on CBS and streamed in the U.S. on Paramount+. Tickets for the event are available through AXS.
The annual fan-voted music event will honor the year’s most influential artists and songs with performances spanning multiple genres and generations. Confirmed performers include Billy Idol, KAROL G, Darius Rucker with Hootie & the Blowfish, KATSEYE, Keith Urban, Maluma, New Kids on the Block, The Pussycat Dolls with Busta Rhymes, Riley Green, SOMBR, Teddy Swims, Teyana Taylor, and Twenty One Pilots. A special live appearance by BTS has also been announced.
Additional presenters include Alysa Liu, Anthony Ramos, EJAE, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Hannah Berner, Hilary Duff, Jason Derulo, John Legend, Lisa Rinna, Ludacris, Mariah the Scientist, Matt Rife, Megan Stalter and Paul W. Downs, Melanie Martinez, Nikki Glaser, Paula Abdul, REI AMI, and Russell Dickerson, among others.
The 2026 AMAs will feature Memorial Day tributes honoring military service members and veterans. Darius Rucker will receive the Veterans Voice Award Presented by USAA’s Honor Through Action initiative, recognizing artists who use their platforms to create lasting change for the military community. The broadcast will also highlight USAA’s Poppy Wall of Honor, a memorial installation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and will include Gold Star families and seated service members and veterans in USAA’s Military Appreciation Section.
The show’s red carpet coverage will stream across multiple platforms. Billboard’s livestream will be hosted by Tetris Kelly and Chelley Bissainthe on Billboard.com, YouTube, X, and Billboard TV, while CBS’s livestream will be hosted by Kalyna Astrinos and Grae Drake from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT and will stream on Paramount+ and affiliated platforms.
Ahead of the broadcast, Entertainment Tonight will air a special presentation, “ET Vault Unlocked: Queen Latifah,” celebrating the host’s career. Fan voting has closed for most categories, with Social Song of the Year and Tour of the Year remaining open through the first 30 minutes of the live telecast.
Taylor Swift leads this year’s nominations with eight, followed by Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and SOMBR with seven each. The nominations are based on streaming, sales, radio airplay and tour grosses tracked by Billboard and Luminate during the eligibility period from March 21, 2025, through March 26, 2026.
