How to Watch the 2026 Tony Awards: Streaming and Cable Options

The 79th Annual Tony Awards will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, with the live broadcast airing from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET on CBS. The ceremony will honor the top productions, performers, and creative teams from the Broadway season, bringing together major theater figures for one of the industry’s biggest nights.

P!nk is set to host the event, adding a high-profile pop star presence to the celebration. The broadcast is expected to include performances from many of this year’s nominated musicals, along with special tribute segments marking the anniversaries of Chicago, The Book of Mormon, A Chorus Line, and Rent. The show will also present winners in 26 competitive categories across acting, directing, writing, design, and musical and play honors.

Viewers with cable can watch the Tony Awards live on CBS during the primetime telecast. For streaming audiences, Paramount+ Premium will carry the live CBS broadcast, while Paramount+ Essential subscribers will be able to watch the event on demand the next day. Additional live-TV streaming services, including Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and DirecTV Stream, will also provide access to CBS for subscribers.

Fans who want to catch the awards being handed out before the main ceremony can watch The Tony Awards: Act One, a free pre-show on Pluto TV starting at 6:35 p.m. ET. Hosted by Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess, the pre-show will include several awards presentations that will not appear during the main CBS broadcast.

P!nk has said she will participate in the evening’s festivities and hinted at some unexpected acrobatic elements during the show. The combination of Broadway performances, anniversary tributes, and a star-studded hosting lineup is expected to make the 2026 Tony Awards a major television event for theater fans and casual viewers alike.
