Ariana Grande Launches Brighter Days Ahead Foundation to Support Mental Health and Community Initiatives

Ariana Grande has launched the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, a new nonprofit aimed at supporting youth mental health, arts education and community causes. The 3x Grammy winner announced the organization on Friday, saying it is designed to uplift and directly fund small groups doing meaningful work through partnerships intended to create long-term impact.

In a statement, Grande said the foundation’s mission is to “support, protect and provide resources” for vulnerable communities in need. She added that the new effort will allow her to expand the charitable support she has provided on her own for years and amplify the work of organizations that deliver critical services and care. The foundation will distribute aid through four main funds, each focused on a different area of need.

The Protect & Defend Fund will back grassroots organizations advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights and reproductive justice. The Heal & Dream Fund is intended to broaden access to mental health care and community support. The Seen & Celebrated Fund will help ensure LGBTQ+ voices and stories are heard and shared. The Emergency Support Fund will provide rapid assistance and relief during urgent moments by delivering aid and resources to communities facing immediate challenges.

Among the recent grantees across the foundation’s funds are Defending Our Neighbors Fund, Elevated Access, G.L.I.T.S, Lambda Legal, Transgender Law Center, Trans Youth Emergency Project, Trans Lifeline, Backline, National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network, Jack.org, Gender Liberation Movement, Glisten Rainbow Library, SAGE USA, TransLash, Transanta, Humanity Crew, New York Cares, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Save the Children UK, This Is About Humanity and Troop 6000.

The foundation’s name is inspired by Brighter Days Ahead, the short film that accompanies the expanded edition of Grande’s Eternal Sunshine project. The film explores themes of healing, resilience, hope and moving forward, which align with the nonprofit’s broader mission. Through the new foundation, Grande is seeking to combine charitable giving with sustained support for organizations working on mental health, inclusion, emergency relief and community empowerment.
