Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Launches Papatui Cologne Line

Dwayne Johnson has expanded his Papatui lifestyle brand into fragrance with the launch of three new colognes priced at $40 each, positioning the line as “luxury without the luxury markup.” Developed over two years with perfumers Frank Voelkl and Jérôme Epinette, the scents aim to deliver a high-end experience at an accessible price.
The collection includes P-01, a leather-like, woody fragrance with bergamot, cardamom and crisp apple; P-21, a sweeter, smoky scent featuring ripe berry, vanilla absolute and birch; and P-07, an amber fragrance built around bergamot, patchouli and vetiver. Johnson said he wanted to create something elevated but not out of reach, and described the fragrances as designed to affect the wearer’s energy and confidence immediately.
According to the brand, more than 170 prototypes were tested before the final trio was selected. The colognes are marketed primarily to men, but the scents are described as broadly wearable and effectively unisex. For shoppers who want to sample the full range, Papatui also offers a $19 Eau De Parfum Discovery Kit with travel-size versions of all three fragrances.
Papatui launched in 2024 and has already grown into a major name in men’s grooming, becoming the top men’s skincare brand sold at Target. The new fragrance release arrives ahead of Father’s Day, making it a timely gift option for shoppers looking for an affordable celebrity-backed scent collection.
