Keke Palmer’s Los Angeles Home Brings Sitcom-Inspired Family-Friendly Charm

Keke Palmer’s home is designed as a calm, welcoming retreat that reflects the actor’s energetic and multifaceted life. After two decades of steady work across film, television, music, publishing, podcasting, and wellness, Palmer wanted a house that would feel restorative, family-friendly, and deeply personal. The result is a warm, layered interior that balances sophistication with comfort.

In the living room, a bespoke sofa upholstered in Rogers & Goffigon cotton velvet curves around a pair of Nola tables from Lucca Antiques, all positioned on a Ligne Roset Gavrinis 3 rug. A Ruemmler pendant light hangs above, while the fireplace surround is clad in custom Calacatta Viola stone. The walls are finished in Portola Paints Roman Clay in the shade Patagonia, adding softness and depth to the space. The overall effect is elegant but relaxed, with furnishings and finishes chosen to encourage easy conversation, lounging, and everyday living.

The dining room offers another glimpse into Palmer’s world, with her Airstream trailer visible through the window, adding a playful and personal element to the home. Throughout the interior, meaningful objects help tell her story, including a “Just Keke” doll displayed on the dining room sideboard. These touches reinforce the idea that the home is not just styled for appearance, but built around the people, memories, and routines that matter to her.

Palmer’s busy career makes the home’s sense of calm even more important. She began acting in 2004 with Barbershop 2 at age 10 and has since built a wide-ranging career. In addition to starring in the breakout buddy comedy One of Them Days with SZA, she hosts a podcast, releases music as both a solo artist and member of DivaGurl, and has written two self-help-style memoirs. More recently, she appeared in Peacock’s The ’Burbs, which has been renewed for a second season, and in Boots Riley’s film I Love Boosters. She also recently gave a TED talk and launched Practice by Palmer, a wellness-focused app.

According to designer Michele Booth of Rylston Road Interiors, who worked with Anna Viola to complete the project in an eight-month turnaround, the goal was to create a space that feels as dynamic and expressive as Palmer while still functioning as a sanctuary. The design emphasizes warmth, softness, and versatility, allowing the house to support both active family life and quiet downtime.

The finished home captures Palmer’s personality through its mix of custom craftsmanship, antique pieces, and intimate details. It is grounded, expressive, and inviting, offering a stylish backdrop for both everyday moments and time spent with friends and family.
