Sussex People’s Postcode Lottery Winners Announced for May 2026

A number of Sussex postcode areas have won prizes in the latest People’s Postcode Lottery draws, with winning postcodes announced throughout April 2026. The lottery, which raises money for charities while awarding cash prizes to players across the UK, gives out daily wins from Monday to Friday, as well as larger weekend prizes. On weekdays, 20 different postcodes each receive £1,000, while Saturday draws offer players a share of £1 million and Sunday winners can each receive £30,000.
The Sussex postcodes confirmed as winners in April 2026 include RH13 8AT in Horsham, RH16 3TZ and RH16 3EF in Haywards Heath, BN17 7JE in Littlehampton, BN27 3PE in Hailsham, RH10 2AA in Crawley, BN3 6PL in Hove, GU28 9BJ in Petworth, BN23 7EU and BN21 4SD in Eastbourne, BN1 3RA in Brighton, BN14 7NB in Worthing, BN5 9AN in Henfield, and BN6 8GG in Hassocks.
According to the People’s Postcode Lottery, the prize structure is based on postcode sectors, with players in a winning sector sharing £3.2 million or more each month. In the example given by the lottery, £1.6 million is divided equally among tickets playing with the winning postcode, while the remaining £1.6 million is shared among tickets playing with the winning postcode sector. If there are not enough winning tickets in a postcode sector, the area can be expanded to include the wider postcode district.
The lottery also says that at least 33% of every ticket sold goes to charity. Since its launch in 2005, players have raised more than £1.3 billion for over 9,000 charities and good causes across the UK. The scheme combines regular cash prizes with charitable fundraising, giving players the chance to win while also supporting local and national organisations.
Sussex has featured prominently in the April 2026 prize announcements, with multiple areas across Horsham, Haywards Heath, Littlehampton, Hailsham, Crawley, Hove, Petworth, Eastbourne, Brighton, Worthing, Henfield and Hassocks among the winning locations. The results highlight how the lottery continues to spread prizes across different communities, with winners appearing in both coastal and inland parts of the county.
The People’s Postcode Lottery remains one of the UK’s best-known charity lotteries, drawing attention for its daily cash prizes and its ongoing contributions to good causes.
