Love Island UK Season 13: Couples Photos After Day 1

Maya Jama returned as host for the premiere of Love Island UK Season 13, introducing a new group of single Islanders to the Mallorca villa as the ITV2 dating series kicked off its summer run. The season opened with a twist: instead of arriving in daylight, the contestants entered the villa at night and began the process of coupling up under a revised format that put more emphasis on deliberation and first impressions.
This year’s cast includes Aidan Murphy, 23, from Kent; Angelista, 24, from Staffordshire; Ellie Chadwick, 24, from West Lothian; Jasmine Müller, 27, from Dubai; Lola Deal, 28, from Kent; Lorenzo Alessi, 28, from Hertfordshire; Mica Harris, 21, from London; Ope Sowande, 27, from Lincolnshire; Robyn Langton, 21, from Liverpool; Samraj Toor, 25, from Birmingham; Sean Fitzgerald, 25, from Galway; and Sam Workman, 25, from Dudley.
After Maya welcomed the Islanders and asked them questions, it was time to form the first couples. The initial pairing was Mica and Samraj. The rest of the Islanders then selected their matches, resulting in Jasmine and Lorenzo, Ellie and Aidan, Angelista and Ope, Lola and Sean, and Robyn and Sam.
Although the group had only just settled into their new relationships, the first episode quickly introduced a major disruption. Two bombshells arrived to shake up the villa, adding immediate tension to the launch night. Maya met the newcomers outside the villa and informed them that within 24 hours they would have the power to make a decision that could change everything inside the house.
The two bombshells were George, a 28-year-old professional footballer from Winchester, and Yasmin, a 23-year-old recruitment consultant from Broadstairs, Kent. Their arrival set up an early challenge for the original couples, with each newcomer tasked with dumping one boy and one girl for any reason at all.
The premiere established the tone for the new season by combining fresh arrivals, a new nighttime entrance, and an early bombshell twist designed to keep the Islanders on edge from the start. With the first couples now in place and the villa already under pressure, Season 13 began with immediate drama and the promise of more shake-ups ahead as the summer series continued.
