Dua Lipa married actor Callum Turner on Sunday at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, choosing a bridal look inspired by Bianca Jagger’s famous 1971 wedding style rather than a traditional gown. The singer wore a custom ivory Schiaparelli Haute Couture skirt suit designed by Daniel Roseberry, featuring a curved hem, gold bijoux buttons with surrealist motifs, and a blush pink bustier trimmed with white lace. She completed the look with white gloves, Christian Louboutin pumps, an oversized Stephen Jones hat lined in gold leaf, and a bouquet of white Iceland poppies.
The most eye-catching detail was a Bulgari Serpenti High Jewelry necklace in 18-karat white gold, a piece similar to one listed at about $567,000, with pear-shaped emeralds appearing to serve as the snake’s eyes. Lipa also wore diamond stud earrings. Although Sunday’s service was intentionally intimate, the couple is reportedly planning a larger second celebration in Palermo, Italy, at Villa Igiea. Among the names said to be associated with the event are Elton John, Charli XCX and Donatella Versace, suggesting a more high-profile gathering is still to come.
