Perry and Yvonne Noseworthy of Paradise have won the top prize in Atlantic Lottery’s Scratch ‘N Win game Vault, taking home $2 million. The $20 ticket was launched on April 1, and four top prizes remain available. The couple, who live in the metro region, said the win came after Perry regularly brought home lottery tickets for Yvonne after work. When they revealed the winning ticket, Yvonne said Perry celebrated with a happy dance.
After confirming the prize at a local retailer, the couple went home and video chatted with their daughter to share the news. Perry purchased the winning ticket at PJ’s Groceteria in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s.
The Noseworthys said the money will go toward paying off bills, investing, and helping family members. They also plan to travel more, including a cruise with their granddaughter. In their 60s, the couple said the prize gives them a chance to focus on both financial security and family experiences.
The win adds another major prize to Atlantic Lottery’s Vault game, which continues to offer remaining top prizes.
