Spice, known as the Queen of Dancehall, has released a new single titled “Volcano,” the first official track from her upcoming album. The song marks the beginning of a new era in her career and arrives as a high-energy summer anthem built for clubs, festivals, and playlists. Released through Easy Star Records, the track combines Spice’s signature bold style with vibrant production and a strong dancehall pulse.

Produced by Grammy-winning producer Antaeus alongside Spice, “Volcano” highlights themes of confidence, empowerment, and self-expression. The song’s catchy hook, “My body hot like volcano,” reinforces its playful, fiery energy and positions it as a seasonal release aimed at wide audience appeal. Spice said the song reflects passion, confidence, and stepping fully into one’s power, adding that she wanted both the music and the visual to feel explosive, fearless, and authentic to the spirit of the era.

The new single is already gaining traction commercially. According to Kaboom Mag, “Volcano” reached No. 1 on the U.S. Reggae iTunes Songs Chart within 24 hours of release. Its accompanying music video, directed by Calvin D, also climbed to No. 1 on the U.S. Reggae iTunes Music Video Chart. The quick success suggests strong fan response and reinforces Spice’s status as one of the most prominent figures in modern dancehall.

Spice has continued to build on the momentum of her recent projects, including Mirror 25, while collecting major milestones across her career. Her music has earned Billboard chart placements, international certifications, and hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. Among her biggest achievements, “Go Down Deh” has now surpassed 400 million streams. She also recently became the first Jamaican female artist with a lead single to cross 300 million streams on Spotify, further cementing her global reach.

With “Volcano,” Spice is entering a new phase that blends commercial strength, cultural influence, and artistic consistency. The release adds to her reputation as a leading force in dancehall and signals strong anticipation for the album to come.
