Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis Reportedly Delay Wedding Indefinitely: Here’s Why

Jennifer Aniston’s wedding plans with boyfriend Jim Curtis are reportedly on hold as she balances a busy professional schedule. A new report says the couple has paused preparations for their nuptials, despite earlier speculation that they were moving toward marriage. The delay is said to be driven by both personal and work-related factors, with Aniston prioritizing her current projects over wedding planning.
According to the report, one major reason is Aniston’s filming commitment to Season 5 of The Morning Show, one of Apple TV’s best-known series. The actress is also expected to make time for another Apple TV project, I’m Glad My Mom Died, which was greenlit in summer 2025 and will adapt Jennette McCurdy’s memoir into a series. In that show, Aniston is set to play McCurdy’s mother, marking a notably different role from many of her previous performances.
The report suggests that Aniston is focused on her career and is not making marriage a priority at the moment. An insider claimed that her schedule is extremely demanding and that she is unwilling to miss out on the new series for a wedding. Curtis, described as a celebrity hypnotist, is said to be supportive of her ambitions and understanding of the delay. However, the same source also alleged that he worries she may develop doubts about the relationship.
Beyond scheduling, the pair reportedly face practical issues that would need to be resolved before any wedding could move forward. One of those is a prenuptial agreement, given Aniston’s substantial wealth. Estimates place her net worth at around $300 million, and any marriage would likely require legal protections to safeguard her assets in the event of divorce. The couple would also need to decide where they would live, with East Coast versus West Coast plans mentioned as another point to settle.
For now, the report indicates that wedding planning is not moving ahead. Aniston appears to be concentrating on her work, while Curtis is said to be patient as the couple navigates both career demands and personal decisions.
