Ross Butler and Timothy Granaderos Reunite at Filipino Forces Event for AAPI Heritage Month

Ross Butler and Timothy Granaderos were among the AAPI actors who attended the 4th Annual Filipino Forces event in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month on Thursday night, May 28, at The Wheelhouse LA in West Hollywood, California. The Feast & Fiesta gathering was powered by Nike, Revolve, and Jewelmer and brought together a mix of actors, creators, and fashion-forward guests for an evening centered on community and cultural celebration.
Butler and Granaderos, who previously starred together on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, were two of the notable faces at the event. Butler played Zach Dempsey on the series, while Granaderos portrayed Monty de la Cruz. Their appearance added a reunion moment to the night as attendees marked the month honoring Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander heritage.
The event also drew several other familiar names from entertainment and fashion. Among them were Paris Berelc, who will appear alongside Granaderos in the upcoming project The Ascent; Never Have I Ever star Darren Barnet; actress Lucy Qiu; Jeannie Mai; Adrianne Ho; Tina Cohen Craig; Veronica Grazer; Rocky Barnes; R’Bonney Nola; Rachel Lindsay; Erin Lim Rhodes; and Bobby Berk. The guest list reflected a broad cross-section of AAPI talent and supporters, highlighting the growing visibility of Asian representation across television, film, and lifestyle culture.
Style was also a major part of the evening, with several attendees arriving in designer looks. Lucy Qiu wore a Gia Studios suit with an Alex Perry top and accessories from Blumarine, Emanuele Bicocchi, Rachel Katz Jewelry, L’Atelier Nawbar, Melinda Maria, and Larroudé x Nicolo Beretta. Adrianne Ho wore an archival Vania Romoff dress with Beaufille earrings and JW Pei accessories. Tina Cohen Craig appeared in custom Vania Romoff paired with Jimmy Choo shoes, an Oscar de la Renta clutch, and Self-Portrait jewelry. Veronica Grazer wore Inigo Villegas.
The 4th Annual Filipino Forces event served as both a celebration of AAPI Heritage Month and a showcase of Filipino and broader Asian excellence in entertainment, fashion, and community. With a strong turnout of actors, media personalities, and style influencers, the evening underscored the importance of cultural events that bring visibility to AAPI voices while creating space for connection, recognition, and celebration.
Photographs from the night captured the energy of the gathering and the diversity of guests who attended. The event’s mix of red-carpet style, celebrity presence, and cultural pride made it one of the standout AAPI Heritage Month celebrations in Los Angeles this week.
