Jason Derulo Reveals His Most Profitable Investment: Just Jared Report

Jason Derulo said his most successful business investment has been Rocket Carwash, a subscription-based car wash company that he described as the one deal he can “hang his hat on.” Speaking at the 2026 American Music Awards, the 36-year-old singer and entertainer said the investment has gone very well and is now valued at $2 billion. Rocket Carwash operates across multiple U.S. states, including California, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, and Pennsylvania, with monthly plans ranging from about $25 to $60 depending on the service level.

Derulo noted that while he has made several business moves outside music, including investments and social media ventures, many of them have not been as successful. He said it is important for people to understand that most investments can fail, but that one good outcome can make the overall effort worthwhile. In his view, investors may need to take multiple risks before finding a winner, and success often comes down to timing and luck.

Despite the financial upside of his business portfolio, Derulo made clear that money is not what brings him the most satisfaction. He said performing remains his true passion and a source of deep gratitude. Before and after every show, he said he thanks God for the ability to do what he loves and for the chance to make music that people want to hear. According to Derulo, that feeling is the real definition of happiness, not any amount of money.

The singer also referenced other business interests, including Catch LA, but emphasized that none of them compares to the joy he gets from being on stage. His comments highlighted the contrast between commercial success and personal fulfillment, showing that while he values a strong investment, his identity is still rooted in music.
