Amanda Conner’s Sister Says Ryan Edwards Tried to Strangle Her, Nearly Killing Her

Ryan Edwards is back in the spotlight after his wife, Amanda Conner, was arrested over the holiday weekend on suspicion of DUI. According to the report, Edwards was the one who called police and later bailed Conner out after she spent several hours in custody, but the incident quickly escalated into a broader family dispute.
Later that same day, Conner called police and accused Edwards of abusing her. Her sister, Ashley, has now publicly backed up those allegations, saying the public does not know the full story behind the couple’s conflict. In a Facebook post shared earlier this week, Ashley said there are “large” and “crucial” details missing from what people have heard about the situation, including events that happened well before the night of the DUI arrest.
Ashley alleged that Edwards had been physically violent toward Conner in the past. She claimed the pair have been fighting frequently and said Edwards had allegedly choked and beaten Conner on multiple occasions. Ashley further stated that one incident happened a couple of months ago and nearly killed Conner, but was never reported to police because Conner did not call authorities at the time.
Ashley also said Conner was scared for her life during the alleged assault and lost consciousness multiple times. She suggested that Conner should have gone to police sooner, but said she did not because she believed her life was in danger. Her comments added a new layer to the already tense situation surrounding the couple.
The dispute has also revived questions about sobriety. Edwards has long said he is sober after years of jail stints and court-ordered rehab, and he met Conner while both were in recovery. But Ashley disputed the idea that Edwards calling police proves he was sober, saying that assumption is false. She claimed both Edwards and Conner have relapsed and said there are “no innocent bystanders” in the relationship.
According to Ashley, the couple was doing well for a period of about a year and a half to two years, during which she said both were sober and taking care of business. She suggested that those days are now behind them. Her remarks paint a picture of a troubled marriage marked by addiction, conflict, and alleged abuse, with both partners now facing serious personal and legal fallout.
The situation continues to draw attention as more family members speak out and the public tries to piece together what happened between Edwards and Conner over the holiday weekend and in the months leading up to it.
