Tom Holland Confirms He and Zendaya Are Married

Tom Holland has appeared to confirm that he and Zendaya are married, ending months of speculation about their relationship status. The British actor, best known for playing Spider-Man, made the remarks in an interview with Esquire after rumors intensified following a red carpet comment from Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, in March 2026. Roach had said the wedding had already happened, while Zendaya’s earlier comments on Jimmy Kimmel Live! did not directly deny the claims.

Holland and Zendaya have been together for several years and became engaged in December 2024. Their relationship has drawn major public attention because of their fame, but Holland said the couple has tried to keep their private life grounded. He referred to recent AI-generated wedding photos that circulated online and were widely shared, saying his grandmother was briefly upset because she thought she had not been invited.

When asked whether he had contacted other family members about the wedding, Holland said, “No, because they were all there,” before declining to say more. He refused to give additional details, keeping the confirmation limited and leaving some uncertainty about exactly when the ceremony took place.

Holland also spoke warmly about Zendaya and their relationship, saying that their shared experience in the entertainment industry helps them support each other in ways that others might not understand. He described their bond as a “bedrock” that helps them deal with the pressures of public life and said it is a luxury to have someone who understands the demands of their careers. Holland added that he had found “my person,” calling Zendaya his best friend and saying he has never felt so supported or safe.

The couple’s romance began after they met while Zendaya auditioned for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Holland said he was immediately excited to work with her, and recalled that she delivered such a strong audition that she secured the role before leaving the room. He remembered producer Amy Pascal saying almost immediately after the audition that Zendaya would get the part.

The interview comes as Holland prepares for his next major film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled for release at the end of July 2026 and is expected to launch a new Spider-Man trilogy starring him. The movie marks the next step in Holland’s long-running role as Peter Parker, a part that helped make him one of Hollywood’s most recognizable young actors.

For fans, the comments appear to settle one of the most closely watched celebrity relationship questions of the year. Although Holland did not offer full details, his words strongly suggest that the couple has already held a private wedding ceremony, likely with close family and friends in attendance.
