Heidi Montag Speaks Out After Spencer Pratt Loses Los Angeles Mayoral Race

Heidi Montag publicly supported her husband, Spencer Pratt, after his loss in the Los Angeles mayoral race. The 39-year-old singer and reality TV star shared messages on social media praising Pratt’s effort and expressing pride in him following the outcome of the race.

Pratt had been competing for the second spot in the November runoff election against councilwoman Nithya Raman. The winner of that spot will face incumbent Karen Bass, who had already secured enough support to remain on the ballot, though not enough to avoid a runoff. After the race was called in Raman’s favor, Pratt’s campaign came to an end.

Montag responded with a series of posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying she could not love her husband more and calling him an inspiration and a hero. She also posted messages thanking God and expressing gratitude for being born in America, describing it as a free country.

Her comments came shortly after Pratt conceded the race in a video that criticized his opponents. In that video, he accused them of causing problems in Los Angeles and warned that the city would continue to decline. He also said that developers, hotel leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs had been contacting him and saying they were preparing to leave the city.

The political defeat marked the end of Pratt’s unexpected campaign, which drew attention because of his celebrity status and outspoken style. Despite the loss, Montag’s comments showed strong support for her husband and framed his effort as something she viewed with pride.

Pratt and Montag have remained in the public eye for years as former stars of The Hills, and their latest remarks drew fresh attention as the mayoral race moved toward the November runoff. The contest itself continued to center on Bass, Raman, and the city’s broader political direction, while Pratt’s candidacy added a celebrity twist to an already closely watched election.
