Milo Ventimiglia’s wife, Jarah Mariano, shared a rare look at the family’s life as they prepare to welcome their second child. On Saturday, June 13, Mariano posted a carousel of photos on Instagram featuring Ventimiglia and their 18-month-old daughter, Ke’ala, along with several images showing her growing baby bump. In the pictures, Ke’ala’s face was hidden, appearing to protect her privacy.
One of the images showed Mariano holding Ke’ala as the child reached toward a horse. Another photo captured Ventimiglia carrying his daughter strapped to his back while a dog stood in front of him. Mariano captioned the post with reflections on the first half of 2026, writing about being present, grateful and simply “being,” while sending love to her followers.
Mariano and Ventimiglia welcomed Ke’ala in January 2025, just two weeks after their Malibu home was destroyed in California wildfires. About a year after their daughter’s birth, they revealed that they were expecting another baby.
Ventimiglia, known for his roles in This Is Us and Gilmore Girls, has spoken publicly about adjusting to fatherhood. In a February appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he joked that he and Mariano “must be crazy” to have another pregnancy so soon after their first child. He said their daughter was sleeping through the night but often woke early to chatter to herself, leading the couple to check the baby monitor for signs she had her pacifier or needed attention.
He also reflected on how fatherhood changed his expectations, admitting he originally imagined himself as a “wonder-parent” with a perfect plan for organic food and a highly organized routine. Instead, he said a difficult year forced him to focus on doing the best he could. Ventimiglia praised Mariano as an exceptional mother and said she handles everything with remarkable strength.
The family’s latest photos offered a gentle glimpse into their home life, highlighting quiet moments of affection, parenting and gratitude as they look ahead to the arrival of baby number two.
