After 6 Years, Adriana Must Fight for Pedro’s Love in Quem Ama Cuida — Notícias da TV

Adriana’s suffering in Quem Ama Cuida will not end when she leaves prison. After spending six years paying for a crime she did not commit, the character played by Leticia Colin will be granted parole, but she will soon learn that rebuilding her former life is just as difficult as surviving behind bars.
Before that, Adriana will herself help push Pedro, played by Chay Suede, away. While still in prison, she will be threatened by a thug sent by Pilar, portrayed by Isabel Teixeira. The criminal will warn that the lawyer will be killed if he continues trying to help her. Fearing for Pedro’s safety, Adriana will order him to stop handling her case.
That decision will create a painful separation between the two. Instead of revealing the threat, Adriana will lie to the idealistic lawyer just as he is gathering evidence against Ademir, played by Dan Stulbach, and working to challenge the conviction. Pedro will believe he has been rejected by the woman he loves, while Adriana will continue carrying the weight of the sacrifice in silence.
Adriana had originally been sentenced to 12 years in prison, but she will end up serving half of that time. Six years later, her reunion with Pedro is expected to become one of the main driving forces of the storyline. Once free, she will be determined not only to fight for the love she still feels, but also to seek justice against those responsible for putting her behind bars.
Among her main targets will be Pilar and Ademir, both of whom are tied to the forces that shaped her downfall. Her release will mark the beginning of a new phase in the novela, but not a peaceful one. Instead, Adriana will face a life completely transformed, enemies who have become even more powerful, and new clues about the murder of Arthur, played by Antonio Fagundes.
The mystery surrounding Arthur’s death will remain central to the plot as Adriana tries to rebuild her life. Alongside the effort to recover her relationship with Pedro, she will also do everything possible to uncover who truly killed the millionaire. The search for the truth will deepen the drama and extend the conflict beyond her time in prison.
Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Claudia Souto, Quem Ama Cuida is set in São Paulo and directed artistically by Amora Mautner. The novela is scheduled to remain on air until January 2027, with Adriana’s release setting up a new chapter of romance, revenge, and investigation.
