Does Masters of the Universe Have a Post-Credits Scene?

Masters of the Universe has arrived in theaters, bringing a live-action adaptation of the classic He-Man franchise to the big screen with Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man/Adam Glenn, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan, Jared Leto as Skeletor, and Allison Brie as Evil-Lyn. The film follows the iconic battle between hero and villain, but many fans are also interested in whether the movie includes any scenes after the main story ends. The answer is yes: viewers should stay through the credits, because the film includes multiple bonus moments that tease possible future stories.

Although a sequel has not been officially announced, director Travis Knight has suggested he would be open to returning to the world if the movie performs well enough for studio decision-makers to support another installment. He said he is proud of the film and would like to tell more stories in the universe if there is demand for them. For now, the movie stands on its own, but the ending and credits sequences leave room for expansion.

There are three separate post- and mid-credits scenes in Masters of the Universe. The first appears immediately after the final scene and functions as a nostalgic callback to the “life lessons” segments that closed episodes of the original 1980s He-Man animated series. In this scene, Orko appears to remind viewers that being strong does not automatically mean winning, and that the character associated with the skull face is usually the villain. The moment is designed as a playful tribute to longtime fans of the franchise.

The second mid-credits scene arrives after the first portion of the credits. It features Queen Marlena and Man-At-Arms discussing a mysterious woman who is expected to return one day, in a way that suggests a family connection to Adam. The conversation implies that Adam may have a sister, and the scene then cuts to a woman on horseback, shown only from behind. This sequence appears to set up a larger narrative thread for a future film or sequel, introducing a new character in a way that invites speculation.

The third and final post-credits scene comes at the very end of the movie. In this moment, Evil-Lyn steps in, brushes off Skeletor’s skull, and remarks that he has looked better. The brief scene strongly suggests that Skeletor may not be gone for good and could return in a later story. Together, the credits scenes serve as both fan service and a clear signal that the filmmakers are thinking ahead, leaving the door open for more adventures in the Masters of the Universe world.
