Cockroach Janta Party Protest Live: Security Tightened Across Delhi as Dipke Says He Is Looking Forward to Meeting Everyone at Jantar Mantar
Friends and acquaintances of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke have expressed support for the party’s proposed protest in Delhi on June 6, saying the agitation is being held for a serious cause and should remain peaceful. They also appealed to the government to cooperate with the protesters.
The remarks came ahead of the planned demonstration by the CJP, with people from Dipke’s native area saying they hope the event does not turn chaotic or lose focus. Usman Shaikh, a friend of Dipke from Santuk Pimpri village, said he wanted the protest to pass off peacefully. He recalled that although Dipke did not spend much time in the village, the two would meet and spend time together whenever Dipke returned during vacations.
Shaikh said that Dipke has called the agitation for a cause and, as a friend, he expects it to remain peaceful. He also urged the authorities to extend support and cooperate with the protesters so that the issue can be raised without disruption.
Vijay Puri, the sarpanch of Santuk Pimpri village and a relative of Dipke, also backed the protest, saying it is aimed at issues that have affected people across the country. According to him, the concerns being raised are not limited to one region but have national relevance, which makes the planned agitation important.
The comments reflect local interest in the upcoming protest and the expectation that it should be conducted in an orderly manner. Supporters of Dipke in his village appear to view the demonstration as a legitimate attempt to draw attention to public grievances rather than as a confrontational event.
The CJP’s proposed protest has drawn attention because of Dipke’s role as the party founder and the seriousness with which his associates are viewing the cause. While they are hopeful that the demonstration will proceed smoothly, they have also stressed the need for the administration to respond constructively.
The appeal from Dipke’s friends and relatives underscores a broader message: the protest should stay focused on its stated purpose, avoid unnecessary disturbance and be allowed to proceed peacefully. Their comments suggest an expectation of cooperation from both sides, with the protesters maintaining discipline and the government showing openness to dialogue.
As the date of the protest approaches, voices from Santuk Pimpri are urging calm, restraint and mutual understanding. For them, the main concern is that the agitation should serve its intended purpose without going off track.
