Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville Invites Community to Celebrate Canada, Stittsville Central

The Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville has partnered with the Rotary Club of Brockville to offer residents a simple way to show Canadian pride ahead of July 1. The clubs are selling Canada lawn signs, encouraging community members to display them in support of Canada Day while also helping raise funds for Rotary programs and charitable projects.
The signs are available for purchase before July 1 and are priced at $15 each. Two design options are being offered: “Proudly Canadian” and “Canada – Strong and Free.” Proceeds from each sale will be directed toward Rotary Club initiatives in the local community and beyond.
The fundraising effort is intended to benefit a range of Rotary-supported programs, reflecting the clubs’ ongoing commitment to service, community development and international support. By purchasing a sign, residents can participate in a seasonal display of national pride while contributing to the work of the two Rotary clubs.
Orders can be placed by contacting Charles Mossman at charcz@yahoo.com. Payment is accepted by e-transfer to the same email address or in cash at the time of sign pickup. The clubs are thanking the public in advance for its support of their efforts.
The initiative combines community spirit with charitable fundraising at a time of year when many Canadians prepare to celebrate the country’s national holiday. The lawn signs are designed as a visible expression of patriotism and a practical way to generate funds for Rotary projects. Through this partnership, the Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville and the Rotary Club of Brockville are inviting residents to take part in a small purchase that carries a broader community impact.
By choosing one of the two sign designs, supporters can help promote the Rotary clubs’ service work while joining in the lead-up to Canada Day. The campaign highlights the clubs’ shared goal of supporting meaningful initiatives at home and elsewhere, with every sign sale contributing to future projects and community programs.
