Influencers Make Emergency Landing in Mexico After Flight Malfunction

More than 80 influencers experienced moments of panic while traveling to South Korea on an Aeroméxico flight organized to celebrate the 14th anniversary of a travel agency. The trip included well-known personalities such as Wendy Guevara, La Bebeshita, Celia Lora, Queen Buenrostro, Chuy Almada, Lolita Cortés, Tania Vázquez, Kunno, Pedro Sola, María Luisa Valdés Doria, and Vanessa Claudio, among others. The group had boarded the aircraft and made a stop in Monterrey to refuel before continuing toward Asia when the captain announced that the windshield had been damaged and the plane could not continue flying. The flight was turned back to Mexico City as a safety measure.
Wendy Guevara described the tense moments, saying the captain informed passengers that the windshield had broken and that it was unsafe to keep flying. She said the return to Mexico City was the right decision and prevented what could have become a serious tragedy, although many passengers were upset by the disruption.
After the scare, Wendy later joked that the group should be given another plane, saying it would be better than simply replacing the windshield and risking any issue if it had not fully dried. Her comments helped lighten the mood after the stressful experience.
Pedro Sola, who is 79 years old, decided not to continue the trip to South Korea. He said he was too tired after spending many hours under tension and preferred to return home. According to him, the influencers were placed in a hotel while they waited, but the exhausting delay led him to abandon the journey.
Vanessa Labios 4K also admitted she no longer wanted to continue, but her manager, Joel Echeverría, encouraged her to stay on the trip. She said several influencers had already chosen not to keep going, including Pedro Sola. Despite her hesitation, she ultimately agreed to continue after being told they were already there and should proceed.
Those who chose to remain had to wait several hours before boarding another flight to South Korea. The incident turned what was meant to be a celebratory and high-profile group trip into a stressful and uncertain experience, with many participants forced to rethink whether to continue after the emergency landing.
