Champions League Final LIVE: PSG vs Arsenal – Score, Radio Commentary, Text Updates and Match Stats

Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are set to meet for the eighth time in all competitions, with their rivalry now finely balanced at two wins each and three draws. PSG have had the upper hand in the most recent encounters, winning both legs of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League semi-final against Arsenal. This final marks the fourth Champions League meeting between the clubs since the start of last season, following Arsenal’s league-phase victory in October 2024 and PSG’s two semi-final wins later that campaign.

The match also carries major historical weight. It will be the first ever major European final between a club from France and one from England, and only the fourth European Cup or Champions League final between clubs from different capital cities. PSG are aiming to make more history by becoming the first team since Liverpool in 2018 and 2019 to reach consecutive Champions League finals, while also trying to become only the second club in the modern era to defend the title successfully. Since 2020, PSG have reached the final more times than any other club, appearing in the 2020, 2025 and 2026 editions.

PSG arrive with strong knockout pedigree. They have won each of their last five Champions League knockout ties against English clubs, and since the round of 16 last season, more than half of their Champions League matches have come against English opposition. Arsenal, meanwhile, have struggled against French teams in Europe, having been eliminated in both of their previous Champions League knockout ties against Ligue 1 sides: Monaco in 2014/15 and PSG in last season’s semi-finals.

For Arsenal, this is a chance to end a long wait. It is their second European Cup or Champions League final, 20 years after their first in 2006, when they lost to Barcelona. The Gunners are still seeking their first major European title since the 1994 Cup Winners’ Cup and would become the 25th different winner of the Champions League if they triumph. They would also be the seventh English club to lift the trophy and only the second London side to do so after Chelsea.

Arsenal have been the standout defensive team in this season’s Champions League, conceding just six goals in 14 matches, and they remain unbeaten in the competition. PSG have been just as impressive going forward, scoring 44 goals in the 2025/26 campaign, the second-highest total in a single Champions League season. The final will also feature several key individual storylines, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s goal contributions, Marquinhos’ record-breaking appearance tally, Vitinha’s passing influence, Bukayo Saka’s strong record against French opponents, and David Raya’s pursuit of a historic 10th clean sheet.

The final will be played at the Puskás Aréna in Hungary, marking the country’s first time hosting a Champions League or European Cup final. Luis Enrique will coach in his third Champions League final, while Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is preparing for his first major European final as a coach.
