Brian Hooker May Have Left U.S. Amid Search for Missing Wife Lynette

Lynette, 55, has not been seen since she fell off a small dinghy and into choppy waters during Easter weekend. Her husband, Bryan, 59, was initially identified by authorities as a person of interest in her disappearance and was questioned by the Royal Bahamas Police Force. After several days in custody, he was released without charges.

Soon after his release, Bryan left the islands and said he was traveling to an undisclosed location to care for his sick mother. He has not been heard from since, adding another layer of mystery to the case.

A friend of the experienced boater told Fox News that Bryan may have left the United States entirely through the California-Mexico border. The friend described him as tall, with a Marine Corps tattoo and white hair, and questioned how someone with those traits could avoid being noticed by the public. The comment suggested surprise that he has not been spotted at common locations across the country.

Another boater said it has been possible in the past for small vessels to cross from San Diego, California, into Tijuana, Mexico, for day trips. According to that account, such crossings have sometimes happened without travelers being asked for identification or a passport.

The disappearance of Lynette has drawn attention because of the circumstances surrounding her fall, the husband’s questioning, and his sudden departure after being released. With Bryan now out of contact and Lynette still missing, the case remains unresolved and has prompted speculation about his whereabouts and what may have happened in the days after the incident.

Authorities have not announced any charges, and no public confirmation has been provided regarding Bryan’s current location. The search for answers continues as the timeline of events remains unclear.
