The couple was photographed holding hands as they walked through the city, marking another public outing for the pair, who have been linked since 2022.

Their night out came just one day after Pitt’s son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 24, reportedly filed legal documents requesting to drop “Pitt” from his surname and go by Maddox Chivan Jolie instead. The request, listed for personal reasons, was first reported by Daily Mail and later covered by Page Six. The name change follows a pattern among some of Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s children, several of whom have publicly moved away from the Pitt surname in recent years.

Maddox has already used the shortened Jolie name in professional settings. Earlier in 2024, he was credited as Maddox Jolie while working as an assistant director on Jolie’s film Couture, and in 2022 he was listed as Maddox Jolie-Pitt as an executive producer on Maria. His latest filing, if approved, would make the change official.

Maddox is not the first child of Pitt and Jolie to seek a surname change. Their daughter Shiloh, now 20, filed to remove Pitt from her name after turning 18 in 2024, and the request was granted about three months later. The decision reportedly had a strong emotional impact on Pitt, with sources saying he was devastated by the shift and viewed it as a sign of a deeper long-running estrangement within the family.

Reports in the following years suggested that Pitt’s relationships with some of his children remained strained, although he was still said to see his younger children occasionally. Pitt and Jolie, who began dating in 2005 and married in 2014, split in 2016 and were legally single by 2019. Their lengthy divorce and custody battles were not fully resolved until December 2024.

Despite the family tension, Pitt has continued to be publicly seen with de Ramon, and sources have described their relationship as serious. The couple’s Paris outing showed them enjoying a low-key evening together while headlines around Pitt’s family life continued to follow them.
