Belle Collective: Birmingham Reunion — Exclusive Clip

The first part of the Belle Collective: Birmingham reunion revisits a season-long feud between beauty entrepreneur Stormi Steele and business owner Tiffaney Jones, centering on a joke about a “mop” that ultimately turned into a much larger dispute. The conflict began at Tiffaney’s couples game night, where Stormi and Amber arrived without their husbands and ended up helping with guest duties instead of joining the activities. What started as light teasing escalated when Tiffaney thanked Stormi for “messing up” the event by coming alone, and Stormi fired back that she had not ruined anything. Tiffaney then joked, “Now I need you to mop,” a remark that clearly stayed with Stormi long after filming.
During the reunion, Stormi says the real issue was not just the joke itself, but the fact that the tension was allowed to grow without a direct conversation. She says the matter could have been resolved sooner if she had been able to simply explain that she did not like the “mop” comment. Stormi also says the situation became worse after Tiffaney’s friend, Synetta, got involved during an off-camera conversation following a civil rights event, when Stormi believed she and Tiffaney were trying to smooth things over.
Stormi says she wanted clarity about what Synetta had said, explaining that she values understanding the reasons behind conflict. Tiffaney, however, says she tried to apologize even though she did not fully know how deeply Stormi had been offended. She says she believes in accountability, but that it is difficult to take responsibility for something when she is unsure whether it caused offense. Tiffaney also says she apologized to Stormi at the Civil Rights Institution and asked how they could move forward.
The exchange becomes even more intense when reunion host Carlos King asks Stormi whether she wishes she had addressed the issue in the moment. Stormi responds that her priority at the time was Canvas Beauty’s large 48-hour livestream event with La La, which she describes as the company’s first million-dollar livestream of the year. That answer sparks a louder argument, with both women interrupting each other and trading accusations. The conversation spirals into a screaming match, with Tiffaney suggesting Stormi cared more about money than the friendship conflict.
The reunion reaches its most heated point when Tiffaney returns to the original insult with one last dig, saying that Stormi looked “pressed about a mop” before adding a jab at her hairstyle, comparing it to a mop. The reunion special is expected to also feature K’La Inman defending her character, Funmi Ford facing an unexpected opponent, and Amber Jones revealing where her loyalty stands as questions continue about whether the group’s sisterhood can survive the season’s betrayals.
The Belle Collective: Birmingham reunion, titled “Power, Pressure & Betrayal,” premieres Friday, May 29, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.
