Ariana Grande Reveals Setlist for Opening Night of Her Eternal Sunshine Tour

Ariana Grande returned to the concert stage on Saturday night, June 6, 2026, launching her long-awaited “Eternal Sunshine” tour at Oakland Arena in her first live trek in six and a half years. The opening show marked Grande’s first major tour since she wrapped her last run in December 2019 and drew heavily from her recent catalog, especially her 2024 album “Eternal Sunshine” and its deluxe edition released in March 2025.

The 23-song setlist showed that Grande has largely shifted the spotlight to her newer work. “Eternal Sunshine” accounted for 11 songs, making it the dominant force in the show. “Positions,” released in 2021, followed with three songs, while “Thank U, Next,” “Dangerous Woman” and “My Everything” each contributed two tracks. Her debut album “Yours Truly” and the yet-to-be-released “Petal” album were represented by one song apiece. “Rain on Me,” her collaboration with Lady Gaga, was also included with pre-recorded vocals.

Although the tour is named after “Eternal Sunshine,” fans also got a first live taste of Grande’s next era through “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” the lead single from “Petal,” which arrived on May 29, 2026. The full album is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, leaving open the possibility that additional “Petal” songs could be added later in the tour. For now, however, Grande appears focused on showcasing the material already in her catalog rather than previewing too much unreleased music.

The production leaned into the themes and imagery associated with “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” the film that inspired the album title. Costume-change breaks were filled by video interludes featuring Grande in a story about memories being erased. In the narrative, a filmic version of Grande encounters a younger girl, then moves through scenes that suggest introspection, identity and emotional reconstruction.

Onstage, the show began with Grande working closely with her dancers before transitioning into more stripped-down solo performances along a long ramp leading to a B-stage across the arena floor. The concert ended with a dramatic finale during “Supernatural,” when Grande was lifted into a UFO-like lighting structure above the B-stage. As the audience exited, production credits rolled on surrounding screens while the recorded track “Ordinary Things” played.

The tour is relatively limited, with only 11 cities on the schedule. After three nights in Oakland, Grande is set for multiple shows in the Los Angeles area before continuing through Austin, Sunrise, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Montreal and Chicago. The North American leg ends on Aug. 6, 2026, before a 10-night residency at London’s O2 Arena.

Ticket demand has been intense, with resale prices for many seats remaining high, especially for floor and premium sections. For many fans, this may be the rare chance to see Grande live for the foreseeable future as she continues balancing music with acting and other projects.
