Wilson Bethel Spotted Filming Daredevil: Born Again in Bullseye’s Accurate Suit

Wilson Bethel has been seen filming the third season of Daredevil: Born Again in New York City, where he will return as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, also known as Bullseye. On Wednesday, May 27, he was photographed at Randall’s Island wearing a suit that appears far more comic-accurate than the homemade-looking version seen in earlier seasons. Bethel also hinted at the updated costume in an Instagram post, and the new look has already drawn positive attention from fans who had criticized the previous suit.
The on-set sighting adds to growing excitement around the upcoming season of the Marvel/Disney+ series, which continues to expand its cast with familiar characters from the wider Netflix Marvel universe. Mike Colter, Finn Jones, and Krysten Ritter were also spotted filming scenes, fueling speculation that a larger Defenders reunion may be underway. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the appearance of these actors has prompted strong fan expectations that the show may bring together several characters who previously headlined Marvel’s earlier television era.
Krysten Ritter is expected to reprise her role as Jessica Jones later in the currently airing season, making her return one of the more notable developments in the series. Her presence on set alongside Colter and Jones has intensified speculation about crossovers involving Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones. Colter played Luke Cage in both his own series and in The Defenders, while Finn Jones portrayed Danny Rand, also known as Iron Fist, in the Netflix shows. Colter and Ritter previously appeared together in Jessica Jones, and Finn Jones guest-starred on Luke Cage, further linking the characters.
The reported filming activity suggests that Daredevil: Born Again is leaning more heavily into the broader Marvel street-level universe, using returning characters to deepen its ties to past storylines. For longtime viewers, the sight of Bullseye in a more faithful costume is likely to be a major draw, especially after criticism over the character’s earlier appearance. Combined with the possible return of multiple Defenders-era heroes, the new season appears poised to generate significant interest among Marvel fans.
