Ray J Hospitalized After Being Knocked Out by Supa Hot Fire

Ray J is recovering in a Las Vegas hospital after being knocked out during a celebrity MMA fight on Adin Ross’ Brand Risk 14 card. Photos shared by his representative reportedly showed him connected to multiple machines while he remained under medical care for several days. During his hospital stay, Ray J said his condition is tied to ongoing heart problems, telling The Shade Room that his “heart more than anything” is in bad shape again.
The singer has previously spoken publicly about serious health concerns linked to years of substance abuse. Earlier in 2026, he said doctors warned him that his condition was severe. In January, after being hospitalized for pneumonia, he claimed in a video that his heart was functioning at only 25 percent. He also told followers that doctors had given him a grim outlook, suggesting he may not have much time left. In a later livestream, he said, “2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” while repeating that this was what doctors had supposedly told him.
Despite skepticism from some fans who have questioned whether his health problems are genuine, Ray J has denied that he is faking anything. His mother, Sonja Norwood, has also defended him publicly. In a March video, she dismissed claims that her son’s illness is a hoax and said people should not minimize what he is going through. She added that she knows her children well and thanked those who have shown concern and offered prayers.
The situation has drawn widespread attention because of Ray J’s recent fight, his prior hospitalizations, and his repeated warnings about his health. Supporters continue to express concern as he remains under medical observation. His comments and his mother’s defense have added to the ongoing discussion surrounding his condition, while no independent medical confirmation of his claims has been publicly released.
