5 Best Foods to Eat at Stagecoach 2026

Stagecoach returns to Indio’s Empire Polo Club this weekend after the Coachella run, bringing one of the strongest country-adjacent festival lineups in years. The event remains anchored by major names in country music, including Cody Johnson, Bailey Zimmerman and Lainey Wilson, but its appeal has broadened well beyond traditional country. This year’s bill also features crossover and high-energy acts such as Post Malone, Diplo, Pitbull, Ludacris and Teddy Swims, along with veteran rock favorites Journey, Bush and Hootie and the Blowfish. The result is a festival designed to attract fans across genres, from country loyalists to attendees looking for pop, hip-hop and classic rock moments.
Beyond the music, the festival’s food scene is a major attraction. Stagecoach continues to emphasize a wide range of dining options, from barbecue and street food to chef-driven festival fare. Guy Fieri is once again curating the Stagecoach Smokehouse, assembling respected barbecue names for cooking demos and pitmaster collaborations. Among the standout vendors are Black Sugar Rib Co., Chris N Eddy’s, Tacos 1986, Wise BBQ and Afters, each offering a different take on the ideal festival meal.
Black Sugar Rib Co. is highlighted for its pulled pork nachos, which combine rich pulled pork, melted cheese, pickled peppers, thick tortilla chips and barbecue sauce. The vendor’s barbecue leans sweeter than smoky, but the flavor profile still delivers depth and a subtle spicy finish.
Chris N Eddy’s brings a festival-friendly smash burger and slider concept that started as a parking lot operation during the pandemic. Its signature offering features fresh beef patties, melted cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato and Thousand Island-style sauce on a toasted potato bun, with crispy waffle fries serving as a popular side.
Tacos 1986 remains one of Southern California’s most admired street taco spots, known for braised meats, handmade corn tortillas and bold salsas. While the tacos are a natural choice, the burrito is presented as the more practical option for festivalgoers who want maximum flavor with less mess and easier portability.
Wise BBQ, a familiar Los Angeles food truck, brings Texas-style smoked meat traditions to the festival. Its brisket sandwiches are emphasized as a convenient choice for attendees moving between sets, offering a savory, smoky, sweet finish in a hand-held format.
Afters rounds out the list with its signature Milky Bun, an ice cream sandwich made with glazed donut ends and cereal toppings. Available in flavors like vanilla with Oreo, ube with cornflakes and churro ice cream with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the dessert is positioned as a sweet, over-the-top finale to a day at the festival.
Together, the lineup of artists and food vendors reflects Stagecoach’s growing identity as a festival that blends country roots with broad entertainment and dining appeal.
