How to Watch Kara From Anywhere: Stream the Series Online Without Restrictions

Kara is a 2026 Tamil action thriller starring Dhanush as Karasaami, also known as Kara, a former thief struggling to leave his criminal past behind. Set in early 1990s Tamil Nadu, the story follows a man who tries to build a peaceful life with his wife, only to be pulled back into crime when his family’s ancestral land becomes burdened by debt, exploitation, corruption, and loss. As pressure mounts, Kara’s personal fight becomes a larger battle against a system that takes advantage of vulnerable families, turning the film into a gritty story of survival, loyalty, consequence, and resilience.
The film is scheduled to stream globally on Netflix starting May 27, 2026, with availability across major regions where the platform operates, including North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. In Australia, the film becomes available on May 28, 2026. Viewers in the US, Canada, the UK, and India can stream the movie through Netflix with an active subscription.
Kara is not available to watch for free, and Netflix does not include a standard free trial for this release. The film can, however, be downloaded legally for offline viewing through the Netflix app on supported devices and plans while the subscription remains active. It is rated TV-14, meaning it is best suited for teenagers and older viewers due to violence, intense themes, language, and some scenes that may not be appropriate for younger children.
The cast includes Dhanush, Mamitha Baiju, K. S. Ravikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, Jayaram, M. S. Bhaskar, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Sreeja Ravi, Aadukalam Naren, and Vela Ramamoorthy. Dhanush leads the film as Karasaami, while Mamitha Baiju plays Selli and K. S. Ravikumar appears as Kandhasaami. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, Jayaram, and the rest of the ensemble support the film’s dramatic and action-driven narrative.

Ganesh under Vels Film International with Think Studios.
