The Weeknd at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium: Start Time, Last-Minute Tickets, Possible Setlist and Everything You Need to Know

Abel Tesfaye, known globally as The Weeknd, is set to bring his After Hours Til Dawn world tour to Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on Thursday June 11 and Friday June 12, marking the first major music event at the venue in three years. The stadium dates form part of a tour that has been running for four years and spans three albums released over the past six years: After Hours, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow. The production has become the biggest R&B tour of all time and has already generated more than $1 billion in gross revenue.

The Manchester shows follow The Weeknd’s previous UK stop at London’s Wembley Stadium in 2023. His return comes after the release of another album, giving fans a chance to hear newer material alongside the biggest hits from his career. The shows are also part of a larger run that will bring him back to London again in August.

Fans attending Etihad Stadium can enter from 5pm, with VIP early access from 4.30pm. The Weeknd is expected to begin his set at around 8.10pm. Support acts for the Manchester dates include electronic producer Prince 85 and American rapper Playboi Carti, who will open the evening before the headline performance.

The setlist from the most recent show in São Paulo, Brazil, suggests a wide-ranging concert built around The Weeknd’s major era-defining songs. That performance included tracks such as “After Hours,” “Starboy,” “Heartless,” “Take My Breath,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “The Hills,” “Out of Time,” “Die for You,” “Save Your Tears” and “Blinding Lights,” among many others. While the Manchester setlist may differ, the São Paulo lineup offers a strong guide to what fans can expect from the stadium production.

Tickets remain available, with general sale options starting from £106.20 on Ticketmaster. Resale tickets are also listed through platforms including Stubhub, Viagogo and Ticketmaster, with prices beginning at around £90. For those seeking a premium experience, hospitality packages are still on sale through the Manchester City website from £275. These include a three-course buffet meal and private balcony padded seats.

Attendees should also be aware of the stadium’s bag policy. Bags must be no larger than A4 size, measuring 12 inches by 8 inches by 3 inches. Any larger bags must be left at a bag drop facility for an additional charge.

Etihad Stadium also has a detailed list of prohibited items. Fans cannot bring in drink glasses, narcotics, weapons, airhorns, sharp objects, portable chargers, long umbrellas, bottles and cans, cameras, selfie sticks, flagpoles, tablets, computers, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, fireworks, flares, large flags, baby buggies, prams, or aftershave and perfume bottles.

With two sold-out-scale nights planned in Manchester, The Weeknd’s return is shaping up to be one of the biggest live music events of the summer in the UK.
