Knicks Celebrities Turn Out for Game 4 Despite Cavaliers’ Courtside Ticket Restriction

Cleveland treated Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals like a business trip, not a celebrity event, as the Cavaliers defeated the Knicks and moved closer to a sweep at Rocket Arena on Monday. A crowd of notable Knicks supporters still turned out for the matchup, including Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Fat Joe, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller and Spike Lee, along with several former Knicks stars and broadcasters.
The Cavaliers reportedly refused to honor courtside tickets bought by Fat Joe, saying they were enforcing rules against reselling first-row seats. Despite that, the rapper still got inside the arena. Chalamet arrived with Jenner and spent time taking selfies with fans, while Morgan and Stiller also took in the game from the stands. Lee was seen speaking with Knicks assistant Rick Brunson before the opening tip.
The Knicks’ playoff alumni were also represented. Stephon Marbury energized a plane full of New York fans on the way to Cleveland, while John Starks, a member of the Knicks’ 1999 Finals team, watched the current team try to reach the same stage. Franchise legends Patrick Ewing and Walt “Clyde” Frazier attended and were on hand to present the MVP trophy to Jalen Brunson.
The celebrity presence was strong, but not overwhelming. One game after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift drew attention to the series — with Kelce famously chugging a beer — rapper Machine Gun Kelly supported the home team while wearing a Guardians hat, signaling that Cleveland’s interest extended beyond the Knicks’ traveling fan base.
The scene underscored the continued pull of Knicks basketball, which routinely attracts celebrities, former players and high-profile fans whenever the team is in the postseason. But on this night, Cleveland controlled the atmosphere and the game itself, limiting New York’s star-studded contingent to spectator status as the Cavaliers took command of the series.
