The story follows married attorneys Anna, played by Amy Adams, and Tom Bowden, played by Patrick Wilson, whose lives are disrupted when Max Cady, portrayed by Javier Bardem, is released from prison after they were responsible for putting him behind bars. Cady returns seeking revenge, setting up a tense psychological thriller centered on fear, guilt and danger.

The series is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV this Friday, June 5, with the first two episodes available on launch day. New episodes will then arrive every Friday through July 31. The Los Angeles premiere served as one of the first major public showcases for the series, bringing together the cast and generating interest ahead of its release.
